We are committed to uplift the lives of impoverished children, their families and communities through the provision of food, clothing, education, health care and livelihood opportunities in partnership with like-minded individuals and organizations.

Fishes & Loaves focuses on children because they are the best indicator of a community’s social health. When children are fed, sheltered, schooled, protected, valued, and loved, a community thrives.

We believe in the life-changing power of the Holy Spirit who is busy at work on the earth today. We also believe that the miracles, signs and wonders that Jesus performed during His life on earth, as written in the Holy Bible are available for us and every believer today.

We believe that nothing is impossible through the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit that are very much a part of our daily lives and successes at Fishes & Loaves.

Our History

Fishes & Loaves started at a crusade in the slums of Bacolod City in May of 2012. Together with a visiting team from Singapore led by Pastor Brenda Micua, Fishes & Loaves founder Elaine Eleazar shared on the healing and life-changing power of God and called out to the hurting and broken-hearted in the crowd.

To her surprise, children as young as 3 years old ran forward in tears with a simple request, ‘To please ask Jesus to stay and never leave my heart.’ The sight of this army of malnourished, dirty, poorly clothed and hungry children deeply moved the heart of Elaine.

A year later Fishes & Loaves Inc. was born.

Her small team visits the slums weekly to give out bread and clothes to the children; armed with the message that ‘God loves them someone cares and that Jesus can be their friend.’

It is also during this time spent loving on these precious children that the eyes of Elaine and her team were opened to the depth and different forms of poverty. Since then, Fishes & Loaves has grown to embrace the larger issues surrounding poverty that affect the children’s families and the community at large.

Today, Fishes & Loaves’ mission is to help children and their families build sustainable lives. At the heart of everything that Fishes & Loaves does is the passion to help poor communities build strong and lasting relationships with the Lord Jesus Christ and their neighbors.
